KINGS CROSS ST PANCRAS HOTEL

This beautiful one bed flat was located in the Kings Cross Renaissance Hotel and had 4m ceiling height, with stunning windows overlooking the station, but was a very narrow room. Lisa Rodriguez: “I cannot praise Sacha enough. I hired her to completely redo my living room…”

I wanted to bring out the grandeur of the place, so In the main living space, we let the room speak by using subtle hues.. Elephant’s Breath gave interest and warmth to the walls and a great backdrop to the crystal wall lights.

I used a mix of taupes and mauves

with some luxurious metallic, velvet and glass accents and Buster and Punch hardware. I wanted to make the joinery in scale and created the bespoke library bookcase with ladder and all the built in wardrobes.

Mary Jane Ansell’s portrait stands strong and was the inspiration for the colour palette in the living room. To frame the tall window bedroom, I made the rich blue velvet cushions to be the feature as you walk in.
